清水浸泡6小时、将泡发好的燕窝放入炖盅, 高温使水沸腾,再调至中温炖约2.5 ~ 4小时
不同品种的燕窝会有不同的浸法与炖法。若超时必化成水。当燕窝炖至呈现滑浆条/块状时最美味可口。
1. Soak in clean water for about 6 hour.
2. Put soaked bird's nest into a double boiler. Use high heat till the water boils, then reduced to low heat for about 2.5 ~ 4 hours.
Different type of bird's nest requires different amount of time for the soaking and cooking period. The bird's nest tends to melt when its overcooked. The bird's nest is ready to be eaten when it becomes aromatic, soft and smooth.
